General Questions
Where are your diamonds sourced? Are they conflict free?
We believe in crafting fine jewellery that is not only exquisite but also ethical. Our diamonds are all ethically sourced and are purchased from reputable, recognised diamond trading centers around the world..
How long have you been in the jewellery industry?
The Luxsso team has a wealth of experience, supplying jewellery at a wholesale level in Australia for well over a decade. We have been offering our exclusive designs online since 2020.
Are your diamonds natural?
We started with Natural Diamonds. But we have recently introduced Lab-grown Diamonds as per the demand. So now we offer Natural and Lab-grown diamonds.
How do you offer lower price for fine diamond jewellery compared to other jewellers?
Luxsso combines exceptional value with outstanding quality, minus the middleman or the mark-ups. Our own team of highly experienced master jewellers and skilled craftsmen are on hand to create each piece especially for you.
There are three key reasons we can provide superb pricing:
- Firstly, we are dedicated only to specialising in and handcrafting diamond jewellery.
- Secondly, we deal with no middleman and as such do not need to mark up prices.
- Thirdly, we run an incredibly efficient company while optimising overheads.
Superb value does not mean a single compromise in quality. Luxsso is known and respected for providing high-quality, customisable and affordable diamonds and diamond jewellery.
Where are you based?
Luxsso is based in Sydney and Melbourne, Australia.
What is your returns policy?
We want you to be delighted with your Luxsso jewellery selection. Please see our returns policy when making your purchase.
Do you have a physical store where I can inspect jewellery in person?
In order to provide exceptional value for Luxsso handcrafted pieces, we sell exclusively online without maintaining a physical storefront. However, we do offer virtual appointments where we can set up a video call with our jewellery specialist and show you a selection of pieces. As this is a special service there is a charge; however, this charge can be waived against any subsequent purchase from Luxsso.
LAB Grown Diamonds Questions
Are lab-grown diamonds fake diamonds?
A lot of people refer to lab diamonds as “fake” diamonds, but this is not accurate.Lab-grown and mined diamonds are tough to identify. That’s because they are both real and have the same clarity grades. The chemical composition, hardness, refractive index, dispersion and density are all the same. The only difference between them lies in where they found their origin.
Are lab-grown diamonds graded differently?
Grading reports for laboratory-grown diamonds look significantly different from those for natural diamonds. In addition, the terms used to report colour and clarity grades for laboratory-grown diamonds are different from those used for natural diamonds. Instead of D-to-Z colour grades, broader category terms (Colorless, Near-Colorless, Faint, Very Light and Light) are used. Clarity grades, abbreviated on natural diamond reports (VVS1, SI2, etc.), use broader descriptive category terms (i.e., Very Very Slightly Included, Slightly Included) on the reports for laboratory-grown diamonds.
Why are lab grown diamonds less expensive than natural diamonds?
Lab-created diamonds offer the best value for money and are more reasonable than natural diamonds of comparable size and quality.
Can you insure a lab-grown diamond?
Yes! Just like a natural diamond, laboratory-grown diamonds can be insured. In fact, by choosing a lab-grown diamond, you’ll save money on the diamond itself. Still, you’ll also save money on the annual premium of the insurance policy due to the lower overall cost of the insurable piece.
Do lab-grown diamonds have resale value?
Many traditional jewellers tell customers that Lab Created Diamonds have absolutely no value, but this could not be further from the truth. Most Earth-Mined Diamonds have resale value, and most Lab Created Diamonds will have a similar resale value, as well.
Do Lab grown diamonds get cloudy over time?
Lab-made diamonds typically have good clarity. Like a high-quality natural diamond, lab-made diamonds won’t get cloudy.
